Our Christmas Campaign, 'Double the Pawprint' raised a whopping £66,000...
...So we are saying a massive THANK YOU to everyone who made a gift!
We were delighted with the level of media coverage for our Christmas Campaign - from Kaiser Chief's frontman Ricky Wilson doing live TV and radio interviews in early December, to our Chairman of Trustees, Bill King, interviewed on Sky News with our 'Give £5 for a rescue dog' request and the lovely Jack Russell, Izzy, our Christmas Ambassador, featuring in our Christmas video, we had a very busy month!
"We are thrilled that people got behind the charity this Christmas, and gave so generously to support us. The Campaign was particularly important because it enabled us to share our work with the wider general public in the UK, creating a greater understanding of our mission to making a difference for dogs. I'd like to thank each and every person who donated." Revd Bill King, Chairman of Trustees.
Thanks to the generosity of hundreds of people across the UK, Double the Pawprint raised £33,000, which when matched by our anonymous supporter, means we raised £66,000 for dogs in need. We will shortly be publishing details of how dog health and welfare charities can apply for grants from this fund, so watch this space.
