Making a
difference
for dogs…
All of us at The Kennel Club
Charitable Trust share a passion
for keeping tails wagging.
All of us at the Kennel Club Charitable Trust have a passion for keeping tails wagging. Ever since our foundation over three decades ago, our aim has been simple; to make a real difference to the health of dogs and dog welfare, no matter what their breed or background.
Our work
We appreciate how caring for our canine companions has an incalculable impact on the people whose lives they touch. Our work with dog charities throughout the UK gives us a unique understanding of how best to deliver projects that benefit both dogs and their two-legged companions. From investing in ground-breaking canine science and research, to funding medical and support dog training programmes and life-saving dog welfare projects, our goal remains the same; to bring cutting-edge technology, compassion and kindness to the space where dogs and people meet.
“The more I see of my fellow man, the more I love my dog. Police dogs, Guide dogs, Rescue dogs, Sniffer dogs, Sheep dogs, Guard dogs, comforters to the sick and bereaved, or simply a friend – we really do owe ALL our dogs.”
The Lord Kirkham KCVO, Vice President, The Kennel Club

We'd like to thank everyone who continues to be part of our story, whether as regular givers, community fundraisers and volunteers, or charitable partners.
We couldn't do what we do without you – Making a difference for dogs
“Dogs bring so much joy to our lives, whether as our friends and companions or by contributing to our wellbeing such as guide, security and sniffer dogs. In return, it is our responsibility to ensure their health and welfare. From scientific research into their hereditary diseases, to the wellbeing and recovery of neglected dogs, we’re here to make a difference for all dogs."
Sir John Spurling KCVO OBE, Vice President, The Kennel Club Charitable Trust
